Three stars and VS 2 Martell Cordon Bleu is an XO cognac crafted from a predominant Borderies eaux-de-vie blend aged in Tronçais oak barrels. This cognac was first introduced to the public by Edouard Martell in 1912. Martell Cordon Bleu has a light oak spice, violet nose and a complex palate of fresh fruit and raisin and roasted nuts Martell XO is delicious sipped neat or with a splash of water. Martell first developed its 'Extra Old' in the early 1800's. It is a blend of eaux-de-vie (particularly focussed around Grand Champagne) aged between 15 and 35 years old with amounts of over 150 different eaux-de-vie used to complete the profile.
